Kolberg has launched the Atlanta Hoarding Task Force (AHTF) which brings together a wide array of resources to aide individuals who are compulsive hoarders. "If there was a task force when I had my hoarding problem, I would have found relief much faster. I'm glad the foundation is being put in place for others so they don't have to suffer as much", comments Jenny S., a client of FileHeads Professional Organizers. The task force seeks to bring together professional organizers, psychologists, social workers and even housecleaners, handyman and contractor services. The result will be a faster decluttering experience with the support to get through the project and mitigate future re-accumulations. To interview Kolberg about the AHTF contact her at judith@fileheads.net or 404-231-6172.

FileHeads is instituting new "green" organizing guidelines. "We're encouraging our clients to recycle, re-use, repurpose and reduce stuff they no longer want. To assist clients in this, FileHeads has assembled experts who know how to recycle; sell on E-Bay, Amazon and Craigslist; conduct yard sales, donate, freecycle and even how to turn useless objects into art. The definitive guide, Good Riddance - Go Green and Get Rid of Anything You Don't Want by Judith Kolberg (publication date January, 2010) will be the definitive guide.
